My connection with the iconic Australian band, The Whitlams, began in 2006 when I received an unexpected email asking if I would be interested in photographing the band for the poster and publicity surrounding their upcoming 25th Anniversary Tour.

Of course, I said yes. An hour later, I found myself on the phone with Tim Freedman, discussing the tour and the opportunity to document what would become the beginning of an incredible journey.

Over the following decade, I photographed countless performances across New South Wales and the ACT. Along the way, I documented lineup changes, new musical chapters, orchestral-backed concerts, and solo tours — capturing not only the energy of the performances, but also the moments that unfolded both on stage and behind the scenes.

All the guys have become friends and its wonderful to catch up with them at each gig.
