A Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Nick.

I've been behind the camera since 2007, creating portraits that celebrate people as they are.

I photograph people at every stage of life, from professional headshots to maternity, boudoir, glamour, and creative portrait sessions. My approach is relaxed and collaborative, helping you feel comfortable so your personality and style can shine through naturally.

I believe everyone deserves to feel confident in front of the camera. My photography is built on creating a welcoming, judgment-free experience where people of all ages, body types, backgrounds, and identities feel seen, respected, and celebrated.

Rather than relying on heavy posing or elaborate setups, I prefer working with natural light and real locations to create images that feel genuine and full of character. I'll guide you when you need it, but I never expect you to know exactly what to do in front of the camera. The best photographs happen when you're relaxed enough to simply be yourself.

When I'm not photographing people, you'll usually find me listening to music, working on one of my many creative projects, or heading off on a camping adventure. Creativity has always been a big part of my life, and photography is where it all comes together.

If my work resonates with you, I'd love to create something together.

Music Photography

Alongside portrait photography, I've spent many years photographing live music and theatre, documenting everyone from emerging local artists to internationally recognised performers.

I've had the privilege of working with artists including The Whitlams, Kate Miller-Heidke, Icehouse, Jimmy Barnes, Grinspoon, Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, and many others.

My work has been published in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Canberra Times, Canberra Weekly, CityNews, BMA Magazine, Reverb Magazine, FasterLouder, and a range of music publications and official artist channels.

"Nick was wonderful to work with as a photographer! Creating the shoot was a very collaborative process with a lot of planning and discussions to ensure we were both on the same page before being on location.

Nick had so many great ideas and was also very open to all of my ideas. During the shoot Nick was extremely professional and made me feel so comfortable for my first boudoir shoot. He was helpful when exploring new poses and is such a fun and friendly person which brought out my personality, and I think this was really captured in the photos.

We had so much fun and I was thrilled with the final photos (as was my groom!)."
