Madeleine O’Dea - The Phoenix Years
Late last year I was asked by my aunt if I wanted to take some portrait photos of her to use for promotion of her upcoming first book; The Phoenix Years. Of course I said yes.
The book has now been released and some of the photos we took have appeared in various media outlets along with reviews and editorial.
This was one of my faves.

The book has been published by Allen & Unwin and is available in all good bookstores and online.

Rock 'n' Roll Flowers
Today, the model I was photographing was slightly different to what I am used to. It was for a friends PhD thesis. They were pretty awesome looking flowers, it was nice to photograph something different.

Sadly though, my beloved 50mm lens died in spectacular fashion while focusing. It was my first lens and has photographed some amazing bands over the past eight years, from Def Leppard to Alice Cooper. But it finally decides to give up while photographing some flowers. How Non-Rock 'n' Roll.

"Pet Tales" with Dr. Margie Roser
Today, I spent the morning with my friend Dr Margie Roser, photographing her in the studio during her "Pet Tales" radio show on 2CC 1206 AM. This morning she had a special guest, Dr Michael Miller from Dr Spot in Campbelltown North.

Feel free to take a look at her facebook page for more information about her radio show. - Dr Margie Roser.

"A look back" at Earth Hour - 2009
Tonight I decided to post some photos of my venture out into town during "Earth Hour" on the 28th of March. The following are some long exposure photo's I took during the period between 8:30 - 9:30pm. It was my first attempt at long exposure photos and I thought they turned out pretty well.
